| 2 | WHITE SAUCE: Make the white sauce by melting the butter (or margarine) on low heat in a small pan. SLOWLY add flour and then SLOWLY add the milk. Use a little salt to taste. NOTE: You can add ricotta cheese to spice up the white sauce or even melt a little of your favourite cheese. |
| 3 | LASAGNE: Into the bottom of a baking dish, spread 1/3 of the white sauce. Arrange the pasta sheets side by side, covering the bottom of the baking dish. Evenly spread a layer of all the white sauce and then a layer of beef. Arrange another layer of pasta sheets and spread another layer of beef on top. Sprinkle 1/2 the mozzarella cheese on top of the beef. Repeat with all remaining ingredients. |
| 4 | Place lasagne dish on the middle rack of the oven and bake for around 60 minutes. |
| 5 | VARIATION: Add a layer of spinach (or any other vegetables) within the layers. |
